Today we had the honor to serve alongside The Torch at their drive-through food drive here in Demorest.

Because of this partnership, we were able to place Easter Bags directly into the hands of families right here in Northeast Georgia. Today alone, over 250 families were served through the food drive! More Easter Bags will be being handed out at today at The Cornelia Food Pantry from 12-2!

This year, 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝟔𝟎𝟎 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐬 through various partnerships within White and Habersham Counties! Each one was built by hand with care, intention, and a desire to make sure every child feels seen and valued.

Wouldn’t it be nice if, just before seasons of growth, just as it starts to sprinkle…God would turn on the windshield wipers and give us a road sign — “Road Work Ahead.”

This picture feels like life sometimes. Rain tapping against the windshield. Wipers moving back and forth, trying to clear just enough so we can see what’s in right front of us. The sky is gray. The road stretches out, but not far enough for comfort. And then—there it is—a simple sign warning that the spiritual work is coming.

How often do we wish growth came with that kind of clarity? Plain letters- right in our faces - prepare yourself work is coming.

A heads up before the hard conversation.
A warning before the heartbreak.
A sign before the stretching.
A flashing notice that says, “GET READY!”

But what if the rain is the sign…
Maybe limited visibility is part of the trust.

BUT WHAT IF we embraced the “road work” instead of avoiding it.

God doesn’t always clear the storm... often instead he strengthens us through it, and strengthens our grip on him in the process.

Sometimes He lets the wipers move in rhythm—faith, doubt, faith, doubt—clearing just enough for the next mile…. Or just the next step to build our trust in Him.

Putting in the work is inconvenient.
It slows us down, or stops us all together.
It narrows our lanes, changes our crew.
It reroutes us, and changes our direction.

But it also repairs what’s broken.
It smooths out our rough edges.
It prepares the way for what lies ahead.

So if you find yourself driving through a season where things feel under construction—where old habits are being torn up, patience is stretched thin, comfort zones are being repaved, you find yourself outgrowing the places & things you once loved— take a deep breath and give yourself grace!

And pause because just maybe God did give you a sign.

Maybe the rain on the windshield and the slow progress forward are whispers saying:

“Spiritual Growth Ahead. Trust Me, You’re Going To Make It Through It!”

Want to take a minute to thank Forsyth County Emergency Management for providing an unbelievable space for our Lost Person Behavior Class this morning. More than 50 SAR people from multiple teams and the public came out to learn some valuable details about people that may go missing and faster tools to find them. Thank you to Suwnee Cu***ng Optimist Club for providing drinks and lunch.
