As the New Year starts, we (the board and staff) here at Demopolis Area Habitat For Humanity mourns the loss of our President Jimmy Carter. President Carter was a very big part of our local and national organization. So if you pass by and see a ribbon on our door, it because of President Jimmy Carter.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Habitat for Humanity and its affiliate organizations will not proselytize. Nor will Habitat work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with Habitat. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.

This innovative program is designed to assist low-income families in achieving their dream of homeownership. The benefits of the Self-Help Housing Program extend far beyond affordable homeownership. Through this program, families develop valuable construction skills, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and foster a strong sense of community.
