Good afternoon District Lions!

Today starts a new Lions year. What a tremendous year we had last year in our donations to our foundation – Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF)! I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all individuals and clubs that contributed to our District successfully raising 101% of our goal - $31,247! I am always so proud of the collective effort of our Lions to attain the goal given to us. We had an increase in individual giving with 5.2% of Lions making a personal donation and 64% of our clubs. Special thanks to all the LCIF Club Coordinators for keeping LCIF on the front burner of club commitments!

🦁 **A New Chapter of Service Begins in Samson!** 🦁

On Saturday evening, District 34-C had the distinct honor of celebrating the Charter Night of the **Samson Pride Community Lions Club**.

Chartering a new Lions club is one of the most meaningful moments in Lionism. It represents more than the presentation of a charter—it marks the beginning of a new commitment to serve, a new team of volunteers ready to meet the needs of their community, and a new chapter in the story of Lions service.

The Samson Pride Community Lions Club has already demonstrated that commitment. Even before officially receiving its charter, these dedicated men and women were identifying needs, serving their neighbors, and building a strong foundation for the future. Their enthusiasm, compassion, and desire to make a difference were evident throughout the evening.

We were honored to celebrate alongside fellow Lions from across District 34-C, community leaders, first responders, family members, and friends. Your presence made the evening even more meaningful and demonstrated what makes Lionism so special—we are never alone in our service.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped make this celebration possible. From the planning and decorations to the meal, gifts, and countless acts of generosity, every contribution reflected the spirit of service that defines our Lions family.

To the Charter Members of the Samson Pride Community Lions Club: thank you for saying "yes" to service. District 34-C is proud to welcome you into our Lions family, and we look forward to serving alongside you as you help shape **the future we serve**.

🎉 A New Lions Club is Being Chartered in District 34-C! 🎉

With tremendous joy and anticipation, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the Charter Night of the Samson Pride Community Lions Club!

These charter members are enthusiastic, passionate, and ready to serve. From the very beginning, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to meeting the needs of their community, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them into the Lions family.

One of the greatest gifts we can give a new club is our presence. We hope Lions from across District 34-C, as well as friends and supporters from throughout Alabama, will join us for this special evening of celebration, fellowship, and service.

As a newly chartered club, the Samson Pride Community Lions Club is also building the foundation needed to begin serving their community.
