Eric Gunter, from Gallion, (now living in Los Angeles, CA) visited the museum last week. He was home for the Rowser and Lomax family reunion.

Years ago, he was a patient of pediatrician, Dr Stanhope Brasfield. As a child, Dr B gave him his little red Handbook of Surgery, which he still has. Eric did pursue the science field and is now a nationally certified lab scientist. What a fun reunion!

We were glad to have the DHS class of 1957 come for their class reunion as well as their friends.

We enjoyed having participants of the summer group at Christian Chapel Baptist Church visit this morning. The summer group enjoyed hearing about famous African American artists and business people from Demopolis and Marengo County likeJames Haskins, Ben Jones, Ralph Abernathy, and A. G. Gaston. Also, the kids enjoyed the hands on experiences at the museum.
