Masonic Lodge Deming 12

Yesterday, a group of New Mexico Masons made a special stop in Lubbock, Texas to recognize and present a 50 year certificate and pin to Worshipful Brother Frank Porcher of Deming Lodge. Past Grand Master of New Mexico, Mac Page, assisted with the presentation along with Worshipful Master Rocky Wyrembelski of the Deming Lodge and several more Masons. We truly enjoyed visiting with W.B. Porcher at his place of abode and listening to him reminisce about the brotherhood in Deming. He was the Master of Deming Lodge in 1984. Again, congratulations for 50 years of brotherhood!

What a great time we had yesterday at the Kingston Lodge's turn of the century meeting. Lots of brethren and lots of big irons present. A great meal was provided and some history of the lodge was given afterwards. Interesting enough were the old spitoons that remained under several of the wooden chairs in the lodge hall.

The Deming Masonic Lodge and the Deming Police Department held their 2nd annual D.A.R.E Golf Tournament to raise money for the Deming D.A.R.E. program on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the Rio Mimbres Country Club. Worshipful Master Rocky Wyrembelski (right) and District Deputy Grand Master of District 10 Gene Rutledge (left) presented a check for $3000 to the Deming Police Chief Alex Valdespino (middle) at the conclusion of the tournament for the D.A.R.E. program.

We are happy to be a main donor to the program and will continue to support the Deming community. Thank you for all the players and sponsors of this year's tournament and we look forward to doing it again next year. It was a great success with many more teams than last year.
