HELLO FORCE!! It's been a while but wanted to update you all. You know all of our efforts began from our founders' roots in the Bergen County Academies Theater program. Now after all this time, we are proud to announce that LIVE THEATER IS BACK! This year the musical being performed is even ore special because it is an original, co-written by professional playwrights, students, and our very own Victoria Pero. Costumes curated and created by our Janet Hughes and Christine Beidel-Weiss. We do hope you'll come out next week and enjoy the show safely masked in our large, airy auditorium. We miss you all and do you hope you'll come out with friends and family. Seek us out and say hello! Ticket link in comment section.

A note from one of our founders, Janet:

Ladies, If you have ever wondered whether the countless hours sitting behind your sewing machine, or the piles of masks that have overrun your basement, or the endless stream of strangers at your front porch are worth it, please indulge me a few moments of your precious time.
After an afternoon of golf with my friends this morning, I ran home showered and put on another golf outfit and headed out to my Tuesday night golf league. The evening started with trade of 15 yards of soft roll elastic for a yard and a half of a golf print fabric with one of the women in the league. Next, I picked up 25 masks another woman made for me ( I gave her a kit two weeks ago) then I dropped off another kit of 25 masks to my golf partner. But, the real story took place after we finished playing. I rushed back to my car to meet a woman in the parking lot to give her a few of the masks with the neck ties. I met Veronica two weeks ago while I was picking up a vase for my son’s fiancé. She commented on my mask (with the neck tie) and before long I had her email address. Over the course of the last two weeks we exchanged several emails wherein I learned she is the social worker at an elementary school with a poverty rate of 42%. I also learned that masks have become a status symbol with children. The “have nots” wear paper disposable masks, and those that can afford them, have colorful, decorative, comfortable cotton masks. So when I met Veronica tonight, I was able to give her 140 assorted sized masks for her children along with the few masks for herself. The tears in her eyes were the answer to my question. YES, what we do is worth it, every moment.
Thank you for helping me to make a difference in Veronica’s life and the lives of her children!
Peace,
Janet
