Hello All,

We wanted to send a friendly reminder to please be cautious and alert to floating objects in the lake as you begin launching boats this spring. With slightly higher lake level than the end of last year, the amount of windstorms we’ve had, the possiblities of not all docks being removed from the water last year there may even be a dock section or two floating out there.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the parade this morning! We tried to get a picture of everyone, but may have missed a few, stay tuned for the winner announcement!

Wow, its almost here! The 4th of July boat parade will begin at 10:00 am at the Point. They will line up behind our lead boat and traverse the lake together.

Please, NO WATER BALLOONS! These litter the shores and harm our wildlife! Try water guns instead please.

As a family event we ask that all decorations are appropriate. As always, The DOM COURT TROPHY will be awarded to the best decorated boat the afternoon of the 4th. Don't forget to have your house number clearly visible to shore so the judges can identify their favorite.

Let's have a safe holiday weekend!

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s annual meeting! Here are a few key takeaways we wanted to share with the broader community and those who were unable to make the meeting:

💰 Transparency Matters – GWLA Members appreciate the open discussion around our funding sources and how we allocate spending. We’ll continue to keep this a priority.

🎣 Fish Stocking Passion – The enthusiasm for our fish stocking program remains strong! We encourage continued donations from members and non-members, feel free to spread the word!

⏱️ Meeting Efficiency – For future meetings, we may implement time limits on topics that don’t apply to all attendees to help keep things focused and efficient.

🌿 W**d Control Collaboration – W**d issues in certain areas of the lake are a concern. We’d love to see neighbors in those areas team up and contact PLM for targeted treatment options together.

💧 Water Quality Appreciation – Residents were grateful for the updates and efforts around monitoring and improving water quality. We’ll keep that momentum going!

🛡️ Emergency Preparedness – There was a shared understanding of the importance of maintaining a financial “war chest” for unexpected lake concerns or legal battles to keep Wall lake safe, we will continue to make sure that these funds are readily available.

🌞 Comfort Considerations – We heard your feedback! It got pretty warm in the sun halfway through the meeting. Next year, we’ll make sure to set up in a fully shaded area for everyone’s comfort.

We’re grateful for such an engaged and supportive community. Let’s keep working together to make sure Wall Lake stays the best it can be!
