🎨🌈 COLOR RUN REMINDER! 🌈🎨

Today is the day and we can’t wait to see everyone covered in color and having a blast! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️✨

A few important reminders before race today:
✅ Bring a change of clothes
✅ Don’t forget a towel
✅ Wear something you don’t mind getting colorful!

🚚💥 COLOR RUN HELP NEEDED! 💥🚚

We’re looking for a couple strong volunteers with “two men and a truck” energy 😄 to help move color powder from the elementary school to the soccer field across the street this Friday at 8:00 AM for the Delton Kellogg Color Run!

This should be a quick job, but we need a hand getting everything set up before the fun begins. 💪🎨

Please join us in welcoming our new Delton Kellogg PTO President, Alison Papesh! 🎉

Alison officially begins her role on June 5th and brings great energy, and a strong commitment to supporting our students, staff, & families. We are excited for this next chapter and all the positive things ahead for our Panther community.

A very special thank you to Jennifer Bever, Katie Blackmun, Courtney Heeg, Molly Bagley, Jessica Sager, Isabella Price, and Alison Papesh for serving on the PTO board and dedicating so much time, energy, and hard work to our students and school community this year. 🐾 💛🖤

We’re excited to share that the Delton Kellogg PTO has officially partnered with the Barry Community Foundation!

Moving forward, the Barry Community Foundation will oversee and manage PTO finances, helping ensure strong financial stewardship, transparency, and long-term support for our students and schools.

Community members who would like to support Delton Kellogg students can also make donations directly through the Foundation’s site. Every contribution helps us continue providing meaningful opportunities, programs, and support for our DK kids.

🎨🖤 COLOR RUN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🖤🎨

We need awesome volunteers to help make our DK Color Run a fun and colorful day for our students! Whether you can help for one grade level or several, we would LOVE to have you join us!

📅 Color Run Schedule:
🕣 8:30 – 2nd Grade
🕘 9:00 – 3rd Grade
🕤 9:30 - Kindergarten
🕙 10:00 – 4th Grade
🕥 10:30 – 1st Grade
🕛 12:00 – 5th Grade
🕧 12:30 – 6th Grade
🕐 1:00 – 7th Grade
🕜 1:30 – 8th Grade

Volunteers will help with color stations, cheering students on, setup, and keeping the event running smoothly. It’s messy, colorful, and SO much fun! 🌈

🚍 Meet Ms. Sarah! 🖤❤️

Ms. Sarah has been driving for 5 years and is known for her kindness, patience, and caring heart.

☕ Favorite drink: Tea
🍽️ Favorite snack: Biscuits and gravy — but only if they’re from Bowens! 😄

One story perfectly captures who Ms. Sarah is. A new 5th grader accidentally left their Chromebook on the bus on a Friday afternoon. Instead of heading home after a long week, Ms. Sarah personally called the family and waited at the bus garage so they could pick it up. She said she didn’t want the student to miss homework or fall behind.

That kind of care and dedication means the world to our students and families. Thank you, Ms. Sarah, for going above and beyond every single day! 🚌

Rory got to interview Mr. Doug and this is what he found out:

Mr. Doug may be newer to the team, but he’s already helping keep our Panthers safe each day with a calm and caring presence behind the wheel. We’re so thankful for drivers like him who start and end our students’ days with kindness and consistency! 🖤❤️🐾
