DABSY Opening Day 2026 was absolutely wonderful!!! This community comes together like no other to support these amazing children!!! I owe a huge thank you to my husband Joe Martinez he took on a lot of tasks to make this day a success, including helping to coach tball again and has never complained. 💕 Thank you Cameron Ingool for being our hype woman and announcer today, girl you were made for this role!!! 💕 Thank you Mallorey Hoernig for singing the national anthem you are so very talented and we are so thankful to you for sharing your gift with us!!! 💕
Thank you Ben Ford, Logan and Corbin for handling the flag raising and always being friends I can count on!!!💕 Thank you Joan Jones for throwing out one heck of a first pitch and thank you to her great grandson Jameson Jones for catching that first pitch!!! 💕 Thank you Meagan Wray for many many years of creating our programs and ads they always look amazing!! Meagan you've been a main part of DABSY Opening Days longer than I have!🤣💕 Of course thank you to Tim Smith, the president who doesn't even have a kid playing but still steps up to help coach a couple t-ball games on top of everything else! 💕 Thank you Matthew and Katie Anderson for all of your help and support and for saving what little sanity I have left! You rocked out absolutely amazing jerseys, hoodies, hats, and so much more and have our teams looking sharp! The sponsor banners are eye catching and look great!!! You two along with Chris Morris were at the fields yesterday evening setting up fields, painting bases, hanging banners and making sure everything was ready to ensure things would look great and go smoothly today! Thank you Collin Tattersall for being at the fields before the crack of dawn this morning to fix any rain damage from overnight and set up field 2 for ceremonies and for always being there to pitch in when we need help!!!

You all keep us fed and hydrated and on a slight sugar rush to get us through such a long long day!!! Thank you to all of the sponsors who make Opening Day possible!!! Without the support of these businesses, opening day would not be what it is today!!!
Thank you to the coaches who checked in to make sure we were good, the ones who brought easy ups in case mother nature decided to rain on our parade which she did but thankfully she let us get a good part of the games over with first. Thank you to every single coach who showed up for these kids today and put them first!!! And thank you to the parents who show up rain or shine with your rock star kiddos every year ready to make the best of whatever weather may come!!! I want you all to know every check in, every smile, every hug, every thank you means the world to me. I truly see our league as one giant family, sometimes a little dysfunctional but still a family who are always there to support the children and each other! I don't care if you've only been with DABSY 1 year or 20 years you all will forever be my family and forever in my heart!
