Hi All, It's Stacy from The Salvation Army.
I have several things I want to talk about.
I have a donation of feeding tube supplies, new in sealing wrapper, tubing, IV pole (not new), etc. I would love to gift this to someone that can use it.
I am in need of volunteers!
Mondays starting in September, I am open 10-12 and 1-3. I need volunteers who can even dedicate one hour a week to help stock shelves, build boxes and weekend bags. I could also use some office help, intakes, filing etc.
Tuesdays- I have two regular volunteers, one in the office and one that passes out my food. I need volunteers who can even dedicate one hour a week to help stock shelves, build boxes and weekend bags on Tuesdays.
Wednesdays are crazy- It is truck day. I am closed in the mornings to unload truck, build TEFAP Boxes, cold and frozen bags, produce bags, etc. I always need help these days. I could used someone in the office on Wednesday afternoons to help with intake, filing, bagging cookies, pizza, etc.
Thursdays I distribute TEFAP and EVERYDAY EATS from 9-12 and need help with that. But I also still need help making sure the pantry is stocked and weekend bags are ready.
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays- I am closed.
Christmas is coming and I could use help with Angel Tree- bagging and tagging, checking in gifts- gift will start rolling in November 14th.
Angel Tree is just around the corner. We will start accepting Angel Tree Appointments in September but intake for Angel trees will not happen until October 5th- so be ready!
