DCSP (non-profit) will be hosting a GUNSHOW/OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL ITEMS on Saturday, May 7th at the Community Center in Delta Junction.
If you are interested in a table please send a message through messenger or contact Nicole Pugh or Jason Pugh. Tables are $50. All vendors are welcome.
The show will go from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
DCSP volunteers will be selling lunch. Smoked pulled pork sandwiches along with homemade coleslaw and Frito pie will be available.
DCSP is also selling raffle tickets for a Savage 116 TR HNT XP in 270 Wi******er with a synthetic stock and Nikon scope for $20/ticket. The drawing will be at 2pm. You do not need to be present to win.
All proceeds will go to the Ptarmigan Heights Senior housing.

Ok...so to be fair...I knee je**ed and posted a warning about Ibuprofen and COVID-19!

This article somewhat counters that...but not definitely either!

If you have trusted medical professionals my recommendation is to defer to them regarding this latest health threat and your personal well being (we are all Deperate Housewives...looking for good info and solid facts to make decisions with)!

My friend Laurie Franks mentioned to me several years ago that she takes Vitamin D to help protect against viruses!

Part of the reason Barb and I went to Hawaii was to boost our Vitamin D levels...and Jake’s as well!

Alaskans are chronically low in blood-tested Vitamin D levels! Myself included, which all my blood tests confirm dramatically since I’ve lived here! So I take vitamin D now regularly (and as directed by my physician).

Did you know Tumeric/Curcumin helps with indigestion, inflammation, weight loss, is a cancer inhibitor, etc.! I take that too regularly with a pinch of pepper as this apparently amplifies it’s effectiveness!

My chiropractor directed I take calcium/magnesium for leg cramps...and by God it helped me!

Did you know some hospitals have mixed oil-of-oregano with Vaseline and seen it counteract affects of MERSA! It helps me with sore throats, colds, and flus...but is not for the weak or faint of heart. That sh-t burns! Great stuff but be careful! It’ll leave a mark somewhere...anywhere it touches!

If we are alive...we are guaranteed to die sometime! My suggestion is to Fill the in between with as much good, laughter, love, forgiveness, smiles, song, dance, and helpfulness that you can fit in!

If you do...your life will have meaning, you probably won’t pass to the next life alone...you will definitely be missed...and maybe you’ll have some peace that will surpass your own understanding of all the “sh-t” that is happening around us!

Many, many huge THANK YOUS to all of the amazing, generous local businesses in our community that donated and supported Burger N' Brew Night! Thank you, Delta Building Supply, Mt. McKinley Bank, Cave Wine Bar & Grille, The Delta Dentist, Delta Meat, Napa, Interior Hardware, Buffalo Center Service, Alaska Farmers Co-Op, Acacia Floral & Gifts, Alaska House, and last but not least, Alaskan Steakhouse for their continued support and generosity! Also, we received a generous donation from Chena Hot Springs Resort! 😊 We also want to thank all of the individuals who donated items to our silent auction, and of course, and always, thank you to everyone who came and supported us, and last but certainly not least, thank you to the board members for making this fundraising event happen! We had a great turn out and we could not have done it without all of the generous donations and support from amazing individuals and businesses! Thank you for supporting a GREAT cause! ❤️
