Tens of millions of people will lose their healthcare in the coming months and years because of the “Big Beautiful Bill.” Though estimates vary widely between 5 and 24 million people at risk of losing coverage, we know one thing: it will be disastrous.

These cuts to our healthcare will also dismantle the only semblance of public health infrastructure that we have in the U.S. in an attempt to make us think that building a system where healthcare is a universal and reparative public good is impossible — but it’s only impossible if we don’t fight back.

Do you do this to? Living in South Florida means lots of rain so parking garages are very convenient - however, they are usually attached to the department stores, and then it's like.... Do I want to get soaked in the rain or a major migraine today 🤔🤔 I'll take option A, Eric! 😂 😂

Honestly though, I do feel bad every time I put my hand up and say "no thank you" even though I'm obviously very nice about it... But I try to make eye contact and turn my head and get by as quickly as possible, so it still feels rude 😔

So to all you perfume sampler givers out there, I'm truly sorry for my behavior when I walk by you. I sincerely appreciate you always trying to give me free stuff but for some reason by body prefers cheap things like body splash that's a lighter scent to digest on my head. Your work is very much appreciated, again 🙏🏻 ❤️😅

July is Chronic Disease Awareness Month. If there is one thing I've learned living with chronic illness, it's that no one can ever understand what it's like to live this way unless they go through it themselves. I am truly blessed to have people in my life like , , and who are there for me no matter what, and truly understand the highs and lows. I love you guys so much and appreciate you more than you'll ever know.

To all of my fellow warriors, you are enough. Never feel like you have to explain yourself on days you can't show up and always know you have a friend in me if you need someone to vent or talk to. Always keep fighting, and remember YOU are the most important person in your life. 🙏🏻 💜

Looking for podcast guests: Are you still jumping from doctor to doctor, struggling to find an accurate diagnosis? We want to help! Each week, we will be featuring two stories ahead of the podcast and sharing them with the world. We will then ask people to read the stories and respond with what they think the diagnosis is, based on symptoms similar to their own. For example, if the story indicates a male with a cough, fever, vomiting, runny nose - you might respond that you had similar symptoms when you were diagnosed with the Flu. Of course we are looking to help rare/chronic/invisible illnesses, but this is just an example. We will then take the best matches and share them, potentially put you in contact with some of the people who respond (if they are open to it), and assist with finding providers in your local area. The podcast will be live and we will welcome people to call and write-in during the hour.

Celebrate Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered Day on March 14! Thank you to the NDTRs who have committed to helping people enjoy healthier lives around the globe.

As you know, nutrition plays a huge role in living with autoimmune and rare disease. Prior to my thyroidectomy, certain foods made the difference of whether or not I was able to get out of bed, but my doctor made no mention of nutrition or diet to me... I had to figure this out on my own, even when I asked. PLEASE do yourself a favor and speak to someone who is certified in nutrition. It will change your life. While I discovered my graves disease going into thyroid storm, I do believe there are cases when thyroid disease can be corrected, or at least better controller with diet and nutrition. There is a reason athletes eat the way they do - to increase energy and FEEL the best they can in order to give their bodies at optimal results.

Treatment day! It's important for me to stop and give a dose (pun intended 😂) of reality and look into my real life. While I try to remain a constant ball of positivity on social media, the fact remains I'm still dealing with serious medical issues in real life. I'm extremely proud of the fact I continue to work everyday and push myself sometimes beyond what I'm supposed to, but I don't want to give a false sense reality either. I know there are others who struggle with similar conditions and situations, and it's extremely important to me that I don't cause them to feel like they should be doing more because they see me running around in my posts - I have PLENTY of moments where I curl up in a ball and have a total breakdown. There's a fine line between making people aware of what you're going through to try to motivate and inspire others, and saying too much to where they think you're complaining and don't want to listen to your 💩 So thank you for allowing me to share this vulnerable and not so "pretty" side of me today, I just feel it's very important the world sees both. 🙏
