CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF SERVICE!

Thank you WPBF 25 News for sharing our story of 10 years of impact to PBC.

10 years ago. Founder, Debra Tendrich, started Eat Better Live Better with a few dollars in her pocket and a vision to break education and access barriers when it comes to food and nutrition.

10 years later...we are now reaching over 200,000 people a year across all of our programs from our Grocery Assistance Program, Social Services, Affordable Farmers Market, our Turkey and Toy Giveaways, and nutrition education.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve our community. 🍏🍎🍏🍎

🦃 As I reflect on all the Thanksgiving blessings we were able to share this year, my heart is overflowing like a plate on Thanksgiving Day.

A huge thank-you to HCA Florida Palms West Hospital for stepping up with grocery items and turkeys that helped us make this holiday season special.

Eat Better Live Better gave out fresh produce to make Thanksgiving dinner! Families got Collard Greens, Butternut Squash, Peppers, Cranberries, Onions, and more!

This turkey distribution was so much fun! Listeners of 104.7 The Flame were given the “secret location” of where the Turkey Giveaway was, and before we knew it, cars were already lining up!

Thank you to the West Palm Beach Junior Academy for helping Eat Better Live Better! The kids not only participated in Pajamas and Peanut Butter, but also decorated grocery bags for the families we feed. Thank you to the kids and staff of WPBJA!

For those wondering what Pajamas and Peanut Butter is, that is when the students (even the staff) can wear pajamas to school if they bring in a Peanut Butter donation! A fun way to give back!
