Cher 4 Cancer- Share the fight

Cher 4 Cancer- Share the fight Charity for women battling Cervical Cancer. In august i was diagnosed with stage 3b cervical cancer which was inoperable. But it is a fact of life.

I went thru daily radiation and weekly 9 hour chemo treatments. all in the hopes that the cancer would shrink enough to remove. I went through 3 rounds (6 months) of treatments straight. It has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do! There's nothing glamorous about treatment. Exactly one year from diagnosis I am now Cancer free! Even with good health insurance I have massive medical

bills. this is something that patients fighting for their lives should NOT have to worry about! I hope to be able to ease some of the burden for my recipients through my foundations donations. Every penny will count and go directly to helping women and their family's! since I will not have any overhead to worry about every cent is to help! I hope to have my first Gala may 2013. I am looking for volunteers, Ideas, donations, and sponsors. every donation will be posted here and on a banner at the event with phone numbers for company's so everyone will know what a great company they are. all volunteers will be recognized on a banner at least.. hoping to be able to something for each one..still in the works for that tho. Will you Share the fight with me?

15 Cancer Symptoms Women Ignore!!

Younger women, tend to ignore symptoms that could point to cancer. They have this notion that cancer is a problem of older people, and they're often right, but plenty of young people get cancer, too. With that healthy balance between denial and hypochondria in mind, these are 15 symptoms that may not immediately make a woman worry about cancer, but that should be checked out.

No. 1: Unexplained Weight Loss

No. 2: Bloating
No. 3: Breast Changes
No. 4: Between-Period Bleeding or Other Unusual Bleeding
No. 5: Skin Changes
No. 6: Difficulty Swallowing
No. 7: Blood in the Wrong Place
No. 8: Gnawing Abdominal Pain and Depression
No. 10: Mouth Changes
No. 11: Pain
No. 12: Changes in the Lymph Node
No. 13: Fever
No. 14: Fatigue
No. 15: Persistent Cough

Know your body, know the symptoms, and be very vocal with your doctor if you notice any changes in your body

ALL WOMEN ARE AT RISK FOR CERVICAL CANCER!
It occurs most often in women over age 30. Each year, about 12,000 women in the United States get cervical cancer.

The human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main cause of cervical cancer. HPV is a common virus that is passed from one person to another during s*x. At least half of s*xually active people will have HPV at some point in their lives, but few women will get cervical cancer.

Do you think teal?
For most women, teal is an "untraditional" enough color that it does spark conversations, leading to further awareness. While "untraditional", teal is nevertheless pretty!

My mission is just like when one sees a pink ribbon, they automatically think of breast cancer, that when one sees TEAL, they automatically think of Ovarian or Cervical Cancer. As such, whenever you see people wearing TEAL ribbons or establishments displaying the logo in their display windows, you will automatically know that they are supporting the advocacy on ALL Gynecological Cancer Awareness. THINK TEAL! Wear TEAL TODAY!
