The purpose of the Dell Rapids Community Fund is to provide grants for charitable, educational, or scientific purposes which will specifically and directly benefit the people of the Dell Rapids area. s. The gifts you make to the Fund provide grant money for innovative community projects both today and in the years to come. A committee of Dell Rapids residents recommends annual distributions from the Fund. Because only a portion of the income is distributed each year, the endowment is never depleted. The Dell Rapids Community Fund is an affiliated fund of the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization. Your gifts to the Dell Rapids Community Fund are deductible to the maximum extent allowable under federal tax code. You may give today, through your will or estate, or by designating the Dell Rapids Community Fund as the beneficiary of insurance policies or retirement plans such as IRAs or 401Ks.
