Partnership to Advance Clean Energy-Deployment 2.0 RE Program The U.S. The PACE-D 2.0 RE is a two-year initiative, focused on enhancing the deployment of renewable energy technologies.

Agency for International Development (USAID) in collaboration with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy launched the second phase of U.S.-India Partnership to Advance Clean Energy Deployment RE Program (PACE-D 2.0 RE). The PACE-D 2.0 RE program proposes interventions in three separate but interlinked components: (a) State Level Strategic Energy Planning for RE Deployment; (b) Scaling Grid-conn

ected Distributed RE; and (c) Deployment of Emerging RE Technologies. The focus will be on helping states take advantage of the economic, environmental and technical/systemic benefits offered by RE, prepare DISCOMs for the transition to a new energy paradigm, and improve markets for private sector investments in RE technologies.
