The 10th Annual Eighmey Open is officially in the books! ⛳️🌧️

On July 18th, Mother Nature certainly kept things interesting! After a one-hour weather delay, we finally teed off at 2PM with nearly 40 golfers who were determined to brave the forecast and support a great cause!

With just a few holes left, the skies opened up with torrential rain and some hail! While most teams battled through the elements to finish their rounds, a few wisely called it a day and headed back to the clubhouse to enjoy some warm hospitality, great company, and a well-earned drink.

Rain or shine, this year’s tournament was especially meaningful as we celebrated 10 years of growing the game and investing in local youth. Over the past decade, we’ve been able to make a lasting impact thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, players and supporters. Your continued commitment has made the Eighmey Open a success year after year! 🙏

And of course, to our golfers—THANK YOU! Without you, there would be no tournament and certainly none of the fun and laughter that make this event so special. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you! 🫶🏼💚

Here’s to the next 10 years! ⛳

The winner will be drawn during our awards dinner. If the rain leaves us with a few extra seats, come join us for an amazing meal, plenty of Eighmey Open fun, and the chance to support a wonderful cause!

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! 💚

Dear Friends,

We are proud to invite you to become a sponsor of the 10th Annual Eighmey Open, benefiting the Delaware County Junior Golf Program and the Delaware Academy Golf Team.

This year, we celebrate 10 years of growing the game and investing in local youth. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, participants, and supporters, hundreds of young golfers have had the opportunity to develop not only their golf skills, but also important life lessons in integrity, confidence, discipline, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

As we look ahead to the next decade, we invite you to partner with us as a sponsor. Your support helps provide access to junior golf programs, scholarships, equipment, instruction, and opportunities that inspire young people to learn, grow, and succeed both on and off the course.

Together, we can continue creating meaningful experiences for the next generation of golfers while strengthening a program that has made a lasting impact throughout our community.

Thank you for helping us celebrate this special milestone and for supporting the future of junior golf in Delaware County.

Please make sponsorships payable to "The Eighmey Open" and mail to:
