Nominations are now being accepted for new members to the New York Dairy Promotion Order (DPO) Advisory Board!

Our DPO members work hard to help promote New York dairy products statewide, from helping get more dairy products into our schools to supporting new, innovative production methods. If you know someone who would fit right in, we encourage you to nominate them!

On January 1st and 2nd, Delaware Co. Dairy Ambassadors handed out milk at the Stamford Food Pantry as part of ADANE’s Fill A Glass with Hope campaign. Money that had been donated to the promotion program and collected for the corn maze at the Hanselman farm on Family Farm Day, as well as donations received at Bovina Farm Day were used to buy milk to hand out at the food pantry. Milk will also be donated to food pantries in Delhi and Hamden. Our promotion program teaches our communities about the importance of dairy farms, and also about the amazing nutrition it provides both children and adults. Purchasing and handing out milk helps complete the circle of seeing milk get to the people who need it.
