✨ Go Big or Go Home! ✨

I am so incredibly excited for what we have in store this year! You all know me—I am a "go big or go home" person, so we are stepping things up and going a little bigger for our next event!

🚀First, I want to send a massive THANK YOU to my amazing committee. You always do your absolute best to help with every single function we throw, and your hard work does not go unnoticed.

🙌Next, a huge thank you to our wonderful community! Thank you for stepping up and helping us make this an amazing event for everyone. We couldn't do it without you.

❤️Here are a few exciting updates:

🛠️ The Big Float Build: We will be building a giant gingerbread house float for our stars of the show, Santa and Mrs. Claus! If you want to get hands-on and help us with this build, drop a comment below or send me a message!

🎄🤫 A New Mystery Guest: We are officially adding a brand-new character to the parade line-up! Who wants to guess who it is? Leave your best guesses in the comments!

🕵️‍♂️📸 A New Tradition: We are ordering a permanent, high-quality backdrop that we can coordinate with every year's theme moving forward. Get ready for some amazing photo ops!Stay tuned for more updates, and let me know if you want to help build the float! 👇

Subject: Call for Nominations: 2026 Delcambre Christmas Parade Grand Marshal

Dear Neighbors and Community Members,
Each year, the Delcambre Christmas Parade brings our city together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas and the spirit of community. A central part of this tradition is the selection of our Grand Marshal—an individual who embodies the spirit, service, and dedication that make Delcambre a wonderful place to live.
We are officially inviting you to submit nominations for this year’s honoree. This is your chance to shine a light on a neighbor, friend, or leader who has gone "above and beyond" for the betterment of our community.

Who are we looking for?
The selection committee will prioritize nominees who have made a lasting impact through:
Outstanding Volunteerism: Selfless dedication to local non-profits, schools, or civic groups.
Community Leadership: Initiating projects that improve the quality of life for residents.
Heroism or Inspiration: Acts of kindness or achievement that serve as a model for others.
Long-standing Connection: Current or former residents with deep ties to the area.

How to Nominate:
To submit a nomination, please complete the Official Nomination Form by October 31st. You will be asked to provide a brief narrative (200–500 words) explaining why your nominee deserves this recognition.

Important Dates:
Nomination Deadline: October 31st at 5:00p.m.
Winner Announcement: The selected Grand Marshal will be notified by November 31st.
Parade Day: December 13, 2026 at 2:00p.m.

Hey y’all!

We’re putting together a Car Show right here in Delcambre to help raise money for our Delcambre Christmas Parade, and we would truly love the community’s support.

So if you’ve got a ride you’re proud of… a classic, a truck, a custom build, or just something clean you love, bring it out and be part of something good.

⏰ 11 AM – 4 PM
📍 Delcambre Shrimp Festival Building
411 E Main St. Delcambre, LA

🚗 Pre-Registration: $25
🚗 Day of Show: $35

A registration sheet will be available, and you can pre-register to save your spot.

We’ll have trophies, good music, food, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Spectator entry is FREE, so even if you’re not entering a vehicle, come out, hang out, and support the event!

Every dollar raised goes toward making the Delcambre Christmas Parade special for our community.
The Christmas parade means so much to our town — especially for our kids. Seeing their faces light up, families lining the streets, everyone coming together… that’s what it’s all about. And we want to make sure this year’s parade is bigger and better than ever.

The Delcambre Christmas Parade is growing, and for our 2026 Season, we are bringing even more magic to our streets! Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 13th, 2026, for our traditional parade, but the festivities don’t stop there.
🏠 Announcing: The 2026 Parade of Homes
From December 1st through December 27th, we’re turning our neighborhoods into a winter wonderland! We invite all residents to register their decorated homes for our inaugural Parade of Homes.
You are the Judge: This is a community-driven event where neighbors and visitors serve as the judges.
Family Fun: This is a free way for families to pile into the car, grab some cocoa, and cruise through Delcambre to enjoy the lights and each other's company.
