Our small, but mighty volunteer crew removed 1000lbs of litter and debris (including a whole treadmill!) from a half-mile stretch along State Route 315 last Saturday! πŸ’ͺ

Please reach out to us if you are aware of a location inside the Olentangy Watershed that could benefit from a litter and debris removal effort.

Thank you to our incredible partners in this effort!

πŸ“’ The Nature Conservancy’s Corporate Water Grant (CWG)* is currently accepting proposals for watershed stewardship projects in Central Ohio!

πŸ’§ Eligible projects include ecological restoration and land protection projects within stream corridors, stormwater mitigation projects, and agricultural runoff mitigation projects.

πŸ“ Funding applications are being accepted on a rolling basis, and projects are being paired with corporate funders as opportunities arise.

*CWG is a program designed by and for watershed stewardship implementors in Central Ohio. The goals of the program are to 1) lower barriers to accessing corporate funding for high-quality conservation work in the region, and 2) infuse local input into the project selection process. CWG is Central Ohio’s voice telling the business community how WE want them to invest in OUR water resilience.
