We had a nice meal last night, and were able to serve meals to 9 NEW guests, as well!! We have some amazing regular supporters from Pleasant Hill that keep us going, although last night was a smaller crowd. We experienced the difficult loss of a longtime cherished member, Miss Ruthie (she was one of the original Come and Dine hostesses, before Covid.) along with the illnesses of some of our other members. BUT, in the midst of things like that- we still saw progress!! God will reward your work, and faithfulness with the desires of your heart if you give Him time.

Dinner tonight! :)

Our menu will be Chicken and Noodles, Mashed Potatoes and sides! Served 5-7pm and To-Go Orders beginning at 6pm.
Pantry items, if needed, as supplies last.

Lets Talk Turkey!!
I posted some polls in stories to ask some questions but they aren't being seen, it seems.
So, I'll ask here;
*Question 1. Do you think you would attend our community dinner if we had it the day after Thanksgiving 5-7pm?

*2nd Question- IF you Did Attend- would you want more Turkey, or a different meal? (Trying to see if you're gonna be tired of it, or looking forward to a Turkey dinner.)

A.T. Our Dinner got listed under our Church's name on the Hunger Alliance Pantry and Meals brochure. I'll share this a few times, but just to clear up the confusion- Come and Dine and Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church are one in the the same. We are an Outreach Ministry of PH, and our dinners take place in the basement of the church.
