Today may not have ended with a win, but we couldn’t be more proud of these girls.

This weekend, our 8U team stepped onto the field and competed in their first-ever 9U tournament. Facing older, more experienced competition is never easy, but these girls showed up ready to learn, grow, and compete.

One of the biggest wins from today? By the end of the game, every single girl was stepping into the box and taking swings. Several girls made solid contact, and you could see their confidence growing with every at-bat.

But the growth didn’t stop there.

We saw girls make plays in the infield, throw runners out, communicate on defense, and step into leadership roles. We watched them pick each other up after tough moments, celebrate the little victories, and provide constant encouragement from the dugout. The effort, energy, and support they showed one another all weekend long was something special to watch.

That’s what this season is about.

It’s about showing up when things are hard. It’s about stepping outside your comfort zone. It’s about learning what it takes to compete at the next level as we prepare for next year.

We also want to recognize the coaches and teams we faced this weekend. More than one opposing coach took the time to compliment our girls on their hustle, effort, and willingness to compete against older competition. Those encouraging words meant a lot to our players and families and are a reminder of what youth sports should be about—helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.

A special thank you to the Queen Bee coach who came over after our game and took the time to acknowledge our girls’ hustle, heart, skill, and courage. We battled their team in 8U, and now we’re seeing them again as we step into the next level of competition. We have a lot of respect for programs that compete hard while also encouraging young athletes, and we’re grateful for the example they set.

The scoreboard may not have gone our way today, but the growth, effort, and determination these girls showed was something to celebrate. The future is bright for this group.

This group came to the Midwest Tournament Factory, LLC. War on the Shore 9U tournament as an 8U team and never backed down.

Now they're heading into bracket play as the #7 seed and ready for another opportunity to compete.

These girls have spent countless hours working, learning, growing, and preparing for moments like this. Now it’s time to take the field, trust the work, and have some fun.

Tonight is our first 10U game of the year as the Beast Girls take the field for a double header against Dublin Dynamite!

These girls continue to work hard, grow together, learn new things, and are ready for the challenge of playing up at the 10U level this season. 💛

CANCELLED…

Yesterday was the final pool play game, and with a rain delay and game cancellation, these girls had to stay ready and adjust through a long day of changes. 🩵

The Beast Girls came away with an 11-8 win, and MVP was Lilly🥎

With that, we are heading into bracket play at 8 AM as the #2 seed🔥

More than anything, this weekend continues to be about growth and learning what it means to compete at a higher level — staying composed, supporting each other, and responding the right way in every moment of the game.

This team is learning that softball isn’t just about the scoreboard… it’s about how you show up, how you respond, and how you play together through everything the game throws at you. 🔥

Proud of this group, proud of the opportunity to compete, and excited to keep building. 💙

On this Salute to Service weekend, we’re especially grateful for the service members, veterans, and military families whose sacrifice allows us to do what we love. We’re honored to be part of a tournament that recognizes that. 🇺🇸

🚨 BACK AT IT TODAY 🚨 🥎🔥

The Beast Girls kicked off tournament weekend with two wins last night:

🔹 14-2 win — MVP: Addison ✨
🔹 14-2 win — MVP: Elli ✨

We had a little bit of a sleepy first game, but still pulled out a win — and then the girls came alive in game two. 🔥

What stood out most wasn’t the score… it was the way these girls played together.

Leaders on the field.
Constant movement every pitch.
Talking through every play.
Calling outs.
Backing each other up.
Cheering each other on from first pitch to last out. 🩵

The energy picked up, the defense locked in, and the girls looked ready to compete every inning. This was Beast softball. 🥎💪

This team keeps finding ways to push each other, pick each other up, and make big things happen on the field. From loud dugout energy to big plays and hard-fought innings, these girls continue to make us proud every weekend. 🩵💙

🥎 BEAST MODE ALL WEEKEND 🥎

The Beast 8U girls did it again — bringing home their 12th championship and climbing to 43rd in the nation! 💪

These girls have held down the #1 spot in Ohio, and this weekend they showed exactly why. 🩵

72 runs scored.
Only 9 runs allowed.
Beast ball all weekend long. 🔥

They worked hard, played hard, and were so much fun to watch from first pitch to final out. The bats were loud, the defense was locked in, and the dugout energy never stopped. 💙

And on Mother’s Day, a huge shoutout to all of the moms, grandmas, and women in their lives who make these moments possible. The early mornings, road trips, packed bags, endless support, and loud cheers in the stands do not go unnoticed. 💐
