Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce

Earlier this month, students participating in the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce's C4 (Chamber of Commerce Career Club) program attended the Build My Future event at the Franklin County Fairgrounds.

Students from Delaware City Schools and Buckeye Valley Local School District had the opportunity to explore a variety of careers in the skilled trades and construction industries through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and conversations with industry professionals.

The experience gave students a firsthand look at career opportunities they may not have previously considered and helped them better understand the skills and training needed to pursue these careers.

The Chamber's C4 program connects students with local businesses and industry leaders, providing real-world experiences that help them explore career pathways and make informed decisions about their futures.

Experiences like Build My Future are exactly what C4 is all about , opening doors, sparking interests, and helping students discover the many opportunities available to them right here in Central Ohio.

We appreciate our school partners and the businesses and organizations that continue to invest in developing our future workforce!
