**EXTENDED DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS**

📸 🇺🇸The Delaware County 250th Committee invites all Delaware County residents the opportunity to enter 1-2 photos of people, places and things that capture the American spirit and celebration of our nation’s semiquincentennial of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This juried exhibit will be held at The Arts Castle and then moved to Delaware County District Library - Liberty Branch and the Community Library in Sunbury.

⭐A People’s Choice Award will be given to the image with the most votes at the end of the exhibition.

📸Requirements: Open to Delaware County Residents age 15 and up
1-2 Photos Per Entry. Photos should be of people, places and things that capture the American spirit and celebration of our nation’s semiquincentennial of the signing of the Declaration and have been taken since July 4th of 2025. (may be taken from anywhere in the country)

📷 Please include a 2-5 sentence response to entry question (link below) for each photo.

📸 Exhibit will take place 9/23-10/9/26 at The Arts Castle
public reception on 9/27/26, 3-5 pm

Extended exhibition will be held at Delaware County District Library- Liberty Branch and the Community Library in Sunbury. 10/12-11/1/26. A selection of images may be chosen for a special viewing at The Delaware County Foundation event on October 1st.

✂️ Sew Ready for the Holidays this Fall! 🧵

Meet Dr. Shelly Dason, our new sewing instructor at The Arts Castle! Shelly will be teaching our Sew Ready for the Holidays: Beginner Machine Sewing classes this fall for ages 8–11 and 11–15.

The SEW READY CLASSES start the first week of September, so you’ll have plenty of time to create something special for gifting!

A great opportunity to learn in class and bring the creativity home, too!

🧼 We are hiring! 🧹

The Arts Castle and Gallery 22 are currently seeking to hire a custodian; this position would be part time, approximately 10-12 hours per week with opportunities for extra hours during our summer camps and special events such as rentals. Primary duties would be general cleaning and basic maintenance around both The Arts Castle and Gallery 22.
