Anyone interested in their child(ren) joining the Delaware Discoverers, there will be a meeting on September 12th at 1pm at the Delaware SDA church to talk to the directors and fill out our yearly forms. All are welcome to stay afterwards for the All-Horse Parade where we will be opening our church doors to the community and selling drinks to raise money for the club. Pathfinders start for anyone in the fifth grade, roughly 10-11 years old. The club goes up until age 16. At age 16, children can join in a special part of the club called Teen Leadership Training.

What are Pathfinders?

Pathfinders offer a wide range of activities including, but not limited to: camping, grade appropriate leadership training, activities promoting community pride & involvement through outreach activities and honors in a variety of recreational, artistic, nature, conservation, vocational, and outreach areas; such as dogs, cats, scrapbooking, animal tracking, basketball and so many more.

The Delaware Discoverers were started in 1992 by Karen Hall and Pam Farley. The club participated in fairs, camporees, club campouts, parades, the Pathfinder Bible Experience and made many memories. Sadly, the club’s members grew up and moved on. This year, 2019, two past members are bringing the club back.
