We are incredibly proud of Youth Infusion Fellow Chelsea Cirillo for the leadership she demonstrated this weekend through her CC Compassion Human Trafficking Awareness Movie Night at Fusia Center for the Arts.

Chelsea brought our community together around an issue that is difficult, but incredibly important: human trafficking. Through education, conversation, and the screening of SOLD, she created an opportunity for young people and adults to learn more about the realities of human trafficking and how each of us can play a role in raising awareness.

At Youth Infusion, this is exactly what youth leadership looks like. We believe young people should have the opportunity, mentorship, resources, and support to take the issues they care about and turn their ideas into action. We were proud to support Chelsea as she brought her vision for CC Compassion to life, and even prouder to see our community show up to support her.

A very special thank you to Fusia Center for the Arts for providing a welcoming space for this important event and for continuing to support young people in our community.

We are also grateful to Pennsylvania State Senator Rosemary Brown and Stroudsburg Mayor Ellen Currie for taking the time to attend, speak with those gathered, and show their support for Chelsea and grassroots, youth-led efforts to create change.

And thank you to everyone who attended, supported Chelsea, shared resources, and helped make the evening possible.

Chelsea, we are so proud of you. This is what happens when we trust young people to lead, give them the support they need, and create opportunities for their voices to be heard. 💜

We love seeing our Youth Infusion Fellows showing up and giving back in our community! 💙

Today, Chelsea Cirillo and Zarina Mustafina, Youth Infusion Fellows, joined Angels & Dragonflies for their Back-to-School Event, helping support local children and families as they prepare for a new school year.

There is something truly special about seeing a community come together with one shared purpose: making sure young people feel supported, encouraged, and ready to start the school year strong.

It was wonderful to see so many families come out and so many individuals and organizations willing to give their time and resources to make a difference.

At Youth Infusion, we are especially proud to see Chelsea and Zarina putting leadership and service into action. These are the experiences that remind us that youth leadership isn’t just about learning how to lead. It’s about showing up, serving others, building relationships, and being part of your community.

Thank you to Angels & Dragonflies and everyone who helped make this Back-to-School Event possible. Wishing all of the students and families a wonderful start to the new school year! 🎒📚
