Week 1 of our Summer Camp was a SUCCESS!!! Our campers spent a week learning about STEM and FIRST whilst building Sumo FLL robots and FTC Bots. They did countless experiments such as Dry Ice, How many rubber bands does it take to blow up a watermelon, and Coke and Mentos. We can’t WAIT to see what Week 2 brings us!

Days 1 and 2 of our Summer Camp were a BLAST! The campers have already built and programmed their sumo robots! We taught them programming through human programming, where the campers had to give the councillors instructions, just like coding a robot, but instead, coding a Gabby. We LOVED the dry ice experiments and coke and mentos! We also demonstrated our outreach robot, Lyra to the campers and let them catch the rings and watch her drive! We are excited to see what the rest of week 1 brings!

A Huge thank you to Quotient Sciences Garnet Valley site for allowing us to tour your facility this week! We loved getting the chance to see what a degree in STEM could lead us to one day. The presenters and site tour were amazing and thank you for giving us the chance to show off our robots and see the overlapping ideas between build season and manufacturing day to day!

Registration is now open for our Fall FIRST LEGO League programs in Rutledge PA!

Pre K through 6th grade children can join us to learn how to design, build, and program robots to either compete or showcase at the end of the session.

Our competitive teams start at the end of August. Non competitive teams start in early September.

On Saturday, Gemini and The Mallrats Went to the DELCO Pride Festival in Upper Darby! Rosie, Lyra, and Squigle loved seeing everybody and going on walks throughout the festival, talking to passersby about the robots, and shooting boulders! The heat may have been extreme, but it did not get the best of us. Can’t wait to see everyone at Duel on the Delaware on June 20!
