“Of the community, for the community.” We all have neighbors. Many of which we don’t know. Delcommunity’s goal is to offer programs and opportunities that will increase engagement among people of all ages and stages of life.
The need is real for community members to come together and actually KNOW the people they live around. Currently building the roots in the Clifton Heights/Upper Darby area but hope to see the vision grow to as many nearby areas with time.
Why?: A recent report from Harvard says that 61% of young adults and 51% of mothers with young children are experiencing serious loneliness which could lead to depression, anxiety, heart disease, substance abuse, and domestic abuse. Just to scratch the surface. Let’s break the cycle of loneliness and connect!
