Comet Nation,
The first week is in the books. Congratulations you survived the first week!! Now it is onto another fun, but busy week of football. So here is the run down of the week ahead.

-- Practice --
Football practices will once again be Monday thru Friday - 5:30 - 7:30. Please try to have your athlete at practice early so they can get their equipment on and be ready to go right at 5:30.
Cheerleading practice is Monday thru Thursday. 5:30-7:30

-- Picture Day and Weigh Ins--
Picture Day and official weigh ins for football will be this Tuesday. Please have your athletes at the field by 5:00 and dressed and ready to go for pictures. We want to cut into as little of practice time as possible.
Football players should be wearing their blue game uniform shirts, with new game pants, and socks. No undershirts should be hanging out of jerseys.
Cheerleaders should be in full uniform, with bows and poms.

-- Fundraising --
Sounds like we have a good buzz going with Comet Card sales in the first week and we would like to congratulate the Kibler family for being the first to 50. IF you need more Comet Cards please reach out to Mrs. Warrenburg and she will gladly .,get you more. Business Sponsorships must be turned in tomorrow with funds at 5:30 p,m. (8/10) in order for them to be a sponsor this year. Remember hitting 20 cards (and every 10 after that) or 1 business sponsor gets you a money bag draw.

-- Scrimmages --
We get to start hitting someone new this week.

On Thursday we have invited East Troy to come down to Delavan for a practice scrimmage for the 7th and 8th graders. Players will warm up for a half hour and from 6:00 - 7:30 will scrimmage against East Troy on the practice field. Parents are welcome to watch from the sideline so bring your lawn chairs.

Saturday we all get to enjoy in the fun. We will all be traveling to Whitewater for the annual league scrimmage. Times have be posted and added as games to the schedules. Please read the notes section in the game for your times and locations. A map will be sent out to you once we receive it from Whitewater. I am listing the times for grades below. Please have your athlete in Whitewater 1 hour prior to scrimmage time. Player will wear their practice uniforms.

8th Grade - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
7th Grade - 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
6th Grade - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
