The EMS and Fire industry are quite small yet very well connected when one is in need. On Sunday, April 19, 2026, a former member of the Corps (active at Schonowe Volunteer Fire Rescue Company), suffered the physical loss of his home that he shared with his mother and her companion. The residence is a total loss of all of their belongings.

The family is in immediate need of some clothing and items to help them start to recover:
