The final GFWC Concert in the Park is tomorrow evening at 6:30. CorTrust Bank, one of our sponsors, is generously providing hot dogs, chips and water in the park, starting at 5:30. We hope to see you at the concert tomorrow.

Join us for the final 2026 Concert in the Park on Wednesday, August 19th from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Central Park Gazebo when we host the Rosie Daze Band for some bluegrass, Appalachian, and folk music. Enjoy the beautiful late summer weather with friends and family. Who knows - you may get luck and win a prize in our final drawing of the summer.

Due to expected high heat on Wednesday, the July 29th Concert in the Park has been moved to the Delano Senior Center.

Join us at 6:30 pm at the Delano Senior Center to enjoy the Dirty Shorts Brass Band in the comfort of air conditioning. This high energy brass band will have everyone in the family dancing.

Join us for the next Concert in the Park at 6:30 pm on Weds July 29 when the Dirty Shorts Brass Band will perform. This high-energy brass band will play a variety of music which will be fun for the entire family. The concert will be held in Delano Central Park at the gazebo. Bring chairs or a blanket and something to drink. You can register for prize give aways while listening to the music.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our first "Concert in the Park", which was held at the Delano Middle School Auditorium. A special thanks to Mike Dailey, band director, who was instrumental in planning this move to a cool space.

GFWC of Delano is pleased to participate in Delano's Sesquicentennial by honoring all of our Past Delano Citizens of the Year. Those in attendance are pictured here. Front row (left to right): Scott Shoutz, Ted May, Gina Coborn, Debbie De Beer, Terri Harris, Carol Plocher, Steve Gilmer, Joe Tipka. Second row (left to right): Gail Sinkel, Bill Hanson, Dave Carroll, Gary Zitzloff, Cheryl Schleper, Joe Schleper, Joe Kittok. Many are still making a difference in Delano and the surrounding areas.

Our next concert will be held at the Delano Senior Center, in conjunction with the Delano Friends of the Library Beat the Heat fundraiser pizza party from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. At 6:30 you can enjoy Uncle Mike of Pint Size Polka.

First concert of the season! ❤️😄

The July 15th Concert in the Park has been moved to the Delano High School.

We will honor former Citizens of the Year with an ice cream social from 6-6:45 in the Commons Area. The Delano Community Band will perform in the Auditorium from 7-8:15.

Signs and GFWC volunteers will be available to guide people to the events. Come and enjoy the music in an air conditioned space.

Join the Delano GFWC for our first Concert in the Park for 2026 on Wednesday July 15th. This concert will be a special one as we will be honoring all of our Past Delano Citizens of the Year.

We welcome the entire Delano community to join us in thanking them on July 15 in Central Park for an ice cream social from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The Delano Community Band will perform at the new Pavilion – Central Park 7:00 – 8:15 pm.

Sundaes or Pie Ala Mode and Bottled Water will be available for purchase at Shake Shack during the ice cream social. Signs will direct you to the Social and GFWC members, in their green shirts, will be available for questions and directions.

Please bring lawn chairs or blankets for the concert.
