Delano Police Department Welcomes a New Officer

Today, we proudly swore in Officer Christopher Dela Cruz, he joins us as a lateral officer from a local Kern County law enforcement agency, bringing valuable experience and dedication to serving our community.

Officer Dela Cruz will now begin the rigorous Field Training Program, gaining valuable knowledge and skills, as he prepares to serve the Delano community with dedication and professionalism.

Please join us in welcoming him to the Delano PD family as he embark on his law enforcement career!

On behalf the Delano Police Officers Association, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who volunteered their time and effort to help make our recent event such a tremendous success.

We are truly grateful for your commitment and teamwork. Thank you for representing our community and association with professionalism and enthusiasm. We hope you take pride in the positive impact you helped create.

Thank you again for your support. We look forward to working alongside you in future events.

And an extra special Thank You to Dr. Jasmeet Bains for your generous donation that allowed us to purchase the bicycles and helmets for this event, the City of Delano Recreation and their staff for your collaboration in making this event possible and the Delano Police Explorers Program POST 999.

🌊🍿 Join us on Friday, July 24, 2026, at dusk as Swan Aquatics and Delano Recreation present a Splash Cinema event. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. Complimentary food, beverages, and raffle prizes will be provided by DPOA and Dr. Bains. *While Supplies Last* Admission is $6.00 per person. Enjoy a fun-filled family movie night at the pool! 🍿🌊
