Delano Education Foundation The Delano Education Foundation is committed to raising funds to enhance education opportunities for present and future Delano students.

Mission Statement
To inspire a spirit of community by investing in opportunities for all students, today and tomorrow, to achieve academic and individual excellence. Knowing there are no stable or guaranteed financial resources, the most powerful safeguard of Delano’s long-term well-being is the building of the endowment. The foundation is dedicated to developing supportive relationships between t

he community and schools that enrich the education of children. Our goal is to build an endowment over the next decade to help self-fund important needs. Our fund is currently at about $300,000 and we aim to reach over $1,000,000. Established in 2001 by a group of community leaders and educators, the foundation believes that every child deserves the best education.

🐯 Welcoming our newest Delano Tigers! 🧡🖤

One of our favorite traditions at the Delano Education Foundation is handing out welcome bags to our incoming kindergartners!

Each bag is filled with a few goodies to help celebrate the start of their kindergarten adventure and officially welcome them as Delano Tigers. It’s been so much fun getting to see all the new faces joining our district and sharing in the excitement of this big milestone.

Popsicles + Principals = a pretty sweet way to get ready for a new school year!

The Delano Education Foundation was happy to help sponsor Popsicles with Principals at Delano Elementary School, giving students and families a fun, low-key opportunity to connect with their elementary school principals before heading back to school.

Events like this are about more than just popsicles. They’re a chance for kids to see familiar faces, build connections and hopefully feel a little more comfortable and excited about walking through those doors on the first day.

We’re proud to support opportunities that bring our students, families and schools together. 🧡🖤

Today, Delano’s incoming 4th graders got a little head start on their next big adventure! 🐯

Through the STEP 4th Grade Kickoff, students had the chance to spend time at Delano Intermediate School, learn more about what to expect, get familiar with new routines and expectations, and hopefully head into the school year feeling a little more comfortable and confident.

Families also had an opportunity to learn more about the transition to Intermediate School and what fourth grade will look like.

The Delano Education Foundation is proud to help support the STEP program and opportunities like this that help Delano students start the school year off on the right foot.

This is exactly what community support of the Delano Education Foundation helps make possible: investing in programs and experiences that support our students, teachers, and schools. 💛🖤

We hope all of our incoming 4th graders had a great day and are feeling ready for fourth grade!

Hi everyone! We wanted to share an update on our Adult Prom fundraiser.

Due to lower-than-expected registration, we’ve made the decision to cancel the event scheduled for next Friday. While we were really looking forward to a fun night together, we want to make sure the event is the best experience possible—and that just wasn’t going to be the case this time around.

All registered attendees will be fully refunded.

We’re so grateful for your support of the Delano Education Foundation and are already thinking through what’s next. Stay tuned for future events—we promise we’ll be back with something great!
