Tau Chi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Tau Chi Omega was chartered on May 22, 1993 to fulfill the purpose of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority Incorporated in the West Volusia County community.

Tau Chi Omega launched the establishment of a permanent Afro-American museum located at the cities local community park. This permanent black history collection of artifacts from the Southwest Volusia County community is the only black history collection in the area.

This weekend, the ladies of Tau Chi Omega showed up twice for our community! From our Color Run; where every step supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia and Flagler County; to our free youth health screening providing vision checks and glasses for children in need, we were honored to serve with impact.
