It's National Night Out: The Do-Over Edition!

Join us tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Earl Brown Park for live music, games, vendors, police and fire demos, and of course, a delicious meal from the Grillmasters.

A big thank-you to Florida Public Utilities Company for providing ice-cold water to keep everyone refreshed.

See ya at the Grills!

Supporting local arts, and fueling our talented students, is something the Grillmasters can always get behind.

We were proud to serve our award-winning DeLand High School Bulldog Bands before they headed off to earn straight Superiors and A's at their marching competition.

We're not saying the Grillmasters' delicious food had anything to do with it, but it may have helped. šŸ˜‰

Congratulations to the DeLand Marching Bulldogs on an incredible performance. GO BAND! šŸ’ššŸ’›

We fire up the grills for our community, and we stand with Rotary to help End Polio Now!

On World Polio Day, October 24, the Rotary Club of Downtown DeLand joins Rotary members around the world in working toward a future where no child faces paralysis from polio.

As Grillmasters, we know what happens when people come together for a good cause. Every donation, fundraiser, and conversation helps keep this mission moving forward.

Help us make polio history!

Join us tonight as we welcome Shane Gierke, head coach of Stetson Baseball as our guest speaker to the Rotary Club of Downtown DeLand!

Shane became the programā€™s 24th head coach in July after a season at UCF. He previously served as Stetsonā€™s associate head coach and recruiting coordinator, helping guide the Hatters through one of the most successful stretches in program history.

Weā€™re excited to hear his plans for this historic program and whatā€™s ahead for the Hatters!

See you at 6pm at Northwest Square!

Each year, we set the Parade Registration to go live the Monday after Labor Day. Ever since Santa shifted it to be interactive on this thing called the Interwebs, these spots fill up quickly.

If you weren't in the know, take this as sign to not wait until the last minute to secure your place in one of DeLandā€™s favorite holiday traditions!

Whether youā€™re joining us with a float, walking group, vehicle, or another festive entry, we canā€™t wait to celebrate the magic of the season with you.

Our Rotary family just got a little bigger, and our Grillmaster crew a little stronger!

At Tuesday's meeting, we officially welcomed Dr. Matt Schairer to the Rotary Club of Downtown DeLand. We are excited to serve alongside him, build friendships, and put Service Above Self into action. He's officially a Grillmaster!!

A big thank-you to his sponsor, Bill, and to our master of ceremonies, Jerry!

Welcome to the family, Matt! Let's fire up some good.

Happy belated birthday, Fuzzy!

Due to predicted inclement weather, tomorrow's National Night Out event at Earl Brown Park is canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. Your safety is our top priority, and we don't want anyone caught in the expected storms.

We're so grateful for all the excitement and support this event has received from our community and we can't wait to bring everyone together once the skies clear.

We'll announce a new date as soon as it's confirmed.

Flashback Friday!

Last week, we welcomed Ruth Bowling with AdventHealth Global Missions to learn about efforts to provide an ambulance, safe birthing training and birthing kits for rural communities in Nepal.

Severe weather can make reaching the hospital nearly impossible for some families. These kits equip families and trained professionals with essential supplies to support safer deliveries at home or on the way to the hospital, helping protect mothers and newborns.

Our own Lamar (aka Pete) volunteered to model the kit and ā€œdeliverā€ a little bundle of joy! Congratulations to Lamar and Lisa on their newest addition. So much for being empty nesters.
