In addition to several of our Rotaractors volunteering throughout the weekend, we were proud to have our board member, Wade, speak to the students about Rotaract and the many benefits of being involved in a Rotaract club.

Wade shared how Rotaract provides opportunities for leadership development, community service, professional growth, and building lifelong friendships and connections. We hope his presentation inspired these young leaders to continue their service journey and explore all that Rotaract has to offer.

This weekend the Rotaract Club of DeLand was proud to sponsor a local student to attend RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)! 🎉

RYLA is an incredible leadership development program that empowers young leaders with valuable skills, connections, and experiences that will benefit them for years to come.

In addition to sponsoring a student, several of our members had the opportunity to volunteer at the event and help make the weekend a success.

Investing in the next generation is one of the many ways we strive to make a positive impact in our community. We can't wait to see all the amazing things these young leaders accomplish!

🎓 Investing in the Future of Our Community

Last month, the Rotaract Club of DeLand was proud to award four scholarships to outstanding local seniors, two from DeLand High School and two from T. DeWitt Taylor Middle-High School.

These scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated leadership, service, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.

What makes this even more special is that every scholarship dollar was made possible through the support of our community and the success of our signature fundraising events, Glamour & Gore and the DeLand Derby. Through these events, we are able to give back and help support the next generation of leaders as they pursue their educational goals.

Congratulations to our scholarship recipients! We can't wait to see all that you accomplish. 💙💛
