Hello Pack 531,

In an abundance of caution, we are not going to meet Wednesday Evening to make sure everyone stays safe. During this time, please work on doing any Bobcat advancement for youth, and “Youth Protection Training” for adults as outlined in my last message and pass the word for any that have not made it into the system yet. I wanted to get this out now and not wait till the last minute. I will have more tomorrow night to help keep them busy for the next week. Any questions please let me know.

Deland PD just called me and National Night Out is still a go!! We'll see you at the Elks at 6:15 tomorrow night (10/4/22)! If you have a uniform - please wear it! If not - that is ok!

Hello, Pack 531!!

Hope everyone has made it through the storm with minimal damage and that everyone has remained safe and healthy!

I finally got internet back this morning so I can provide a few updates.

I called the Deland Police Department this morning and they do believe that National Night Out will need to be canceled or postponed at this time. They will call me back if that changes.

We are currently planning on having a regular meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 as long as the Elk's lodge has power restored by then. I will keep you posted so be sure to check your email and here for updates!

Our first camping trip is already coming up - can you believe it?

If you didn't get a chance to sign up last night, there's still time! Let us know if you need camping gear or anything else!

And don't forget - you can always come out for the day if you're not ready to camp overnight yet!

Our second meeting of the year included welcoming new families from George Marks Elementary, lots of fun games, and signing up for our first camping trip at the end of the month!

You can still join and get in on the fun! Message us or come out next Wednesday night.
