DeLand Breakfast Rotary DeLand Breakfast Rotary brings together service minded individuals committed to service, fellowship, and making a positive impact in our community.

Meetings are Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. at the Wayne G. Sanborn Center, 815 S. Alabama Ave., DeLand. In its 30 + year history, the Albert D. Downs Wild Game Feast, organized by the DeLand Breakfast Rotary, has supported local nonprofit organizations that support families throughout Volusia County, Fla. Over the years this event has raised more than $2 million dollars for local charities! Sponsors make the Wild Game Feast successful. DeLand Breakfast Rotary Club is incredibly proud to recognize three of our members for their continued generosity and commitment to The Rotary Foundation.

🌟 Stephanie and Diana have each been recognized as Paul Harris Fellows +1, representing their continued support of The Rotary Foundation and its work to create lasting change in communities here at home and around the world.

🏅 Ron received the special recognition of Master Donor, honoring his extraordinary level of giving and long-standing commitment to Rotary’s mission.
These recognitions represent so much more than a pin or an award. They reflect a belief in Rotary’s ability to change lives, strengthen communities, promote peace, support education, fight disease, and create hope around the world.

🌟 Join Us This Thursday! 🌟

This week, we’re honored to welcome Earl Mallory as our guest speaker to share the mission and impact of The Alan Madden Foundation.

The Alan Madden Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting young people transitioning into or out of foster care, with a special focus on those who have experienced sexual abuse, neglect, or human trafficking.

Earl will share how the foundation is helping these young people build meaningful connections, find support, and move forward knowing they have a community that cares. ❤️

We invite you to join us and learn more about the incredible work being done to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable youth.

🎗️ THIS THURSDAY AT DELAND BREAKFAST ROTARY! 🎗️

This week, we are honored to welcome Oscar Ortiz, Executive Director of the SebastianStrong Foundation and, most importantly, Sebastian’s dad, as our featured speaker.

💛 SebastianStrong Foundation was founded in 2017 in memory of Sebastian Ortiz, with a mission to bring more hope and better treatment options to children battling cancer. The foundation helps fund innovative, less-toxic childhood cancer research while also providing programs and support for families navigating the incredibly difficult journey of childhood cancer treatment.

Oscar will share Sebastian’s story, the work being done through the foundation, and how they are helping advance research that can give children diagnosed with cancer more hope for the future.
We’re looking forward to a meaningful and inspiring morning together. Please join us!

💙 Tomorrow at DeLand Breakfast Rotary

We’re pleased to welcome Kourtney Lindsey, Clinical Therapist with The House Next Door, as our featured speaker.

Kourtney will lead an important conversation on Su***de Awareness and Prevention, including how to recognize warning signs, better understand risk and protective factors, and know how to respond when someone may be struggling.

These are conversations that can be difficult, but knowing what to look for and how to connect someone with the right support can truly make a difference. Together, we can help reduce stigma, increase awareness, and potentially save lives.
