Wisconsin Hero Outdoors is excited to announce our 7th Annual Charity Ride will take place on:

📅 Saturday, August 8th, 2026

Join us for a great day of riding, community, and support for Wisconsin veterans and first responders.

Over the past seven years, this event has helped us continue our mission of creating meaningful outdoor experiences that foster connection, camaraderie, and healing for those who have served.

Ben Jarvis, one of the founders of our annual Charity Ride, is using his voice to make a difference.

In the first episode of his new podcast, Ben shares his personal mental health journey—including his decision to seek help through the VA and begin therapy.

He’s telling his story to break the stigma, to show that seeking help is an act of courage, and to remind others that no one has to walk this road alone.

Today is National PTSD Awareness Day, and it's a great reminder that healing doesn’t have to happen alone—or indoors.

At Wisconsin Hero Outdoors, we help veterans, first responders, and their families connect with the outdoors as a way to cope, heal, and recharge. Whether it’s kayaking, fishing, hiking, or just enjoying some fresh air, these moments outside can make a big difference.

Let’s keep talking about PTSD, supporting each other, and getting outside together.
