Welcome to Elks Lodge #837 BSA Troop 280 for families - we are glad you decided to check us out! We meet at the Youth Center Monday nights 6pm-8pm

The Boy Scouts of America is an organization that strives to give young men and young women the knowledge, skills and life lessons that will help them mature and succeed as they become adults. The organization offers all kids a variety of benefits; inc

luding friendship, education, leadership opportunities and the chance to grow and thrive in a healthy, rewarding environment. Scouts (boys and girls ages 11-18) usually meet once a week as an entire troop, and then have some kind of activity at least twice a month - typically a campout. Troop 280 meets every Monday from 6 - 8:00pm. Troop 280 participates both in on base activities and also in district activities around Del Rio and surrounding areas. The Troop also participates in Summer camps and OA activities. Additionally, the Scouts camp multiple times throughout the year - in addition to our hikes and other activities.
