A Community “Free Market Outreach” offering support to the surrounding area

505 N Main St in Canton provides essential and life saving services to countless residents in Haywood county and beyond. These services include and are not limited to:
Food delivery to house bound individuals
Providing education and resources for community growth
Special holiday events that provides community members with school supplies, spring baskets, holiday gifts and more. The physical locati

on also serves as a “free store”, housing clothing, food and housewares for anyone who has a need, including but not limited to low income, housing insecure and food insecure neighbors in our community

505 Main Street are grateful to be a part of this Community.

The N.C. Forest Service (NCFS) is offering a new program, the Timber Loss Relief Program (TLRP), that compensates forest landowners who lost timber as a result of Hurricane Helene.
Application for this program began April 20, 2026 and concludes June 12, 2026. To apply for TLRP funds, landowners should contact their NCFS county office.
