Assalamu Alaikum everyone, Alhamdulillah, our Normal rd, Neighborhood Potluck Block Party was a wonderful success!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, brought delicious food, helped with the setup and cleanup, and spent time getting to know one another. Your kindness, generosity, and cheerful participation made the evening truly special.

May Allah (swt) bless everyone who contributed in any way, strengthen the bonds between our neighbors, and continue to bring love, peace, and unity to our community. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah, we had a beautiful and beneficial gathering learning about the Ten Promised Jannah (Al-Ashara Al-Mubashshara). May Allah (swt) reward everyone who attended, organized, and supported this program. We ask Allah (swt) to help us follow the example of these great companions, strengthen our faith, and grant us Jannatul Firdaus with RasulAllah ﷺ. Ameen. Alhamdulillah! We're thrilled to announce that our children have successfully completed the 2026 Two-Month Summer Islamic Education Program at IQRA Dawah Center! 🎉 Throughout the program, they gained valuable knowledge through Quran memorization, important Duas, stories of the Prophets, basic Islamic beliefs, and engaging Islamic learning activities. Alhamdulillah, Recently we just had Muna Chicago youth and DeKalb youth camp over this last weekend at Iqra Dawah center for 2 days ( Saturday and Sunday) Some activities included bowling, soccer, sports, and even Islamic movie night. There were some well structured halaqas, panel discussions, and even tahajut/Qiyam Ul Layl where all the kids prayed together. Please do continue to keep the Youth and children in your duas and continue to support our youth. JazakAllah Khair for all your support.

Jazakallah khair to all the kids who volunteered to make the goodie bags for Eid. Alhamdulillah, we were able to prepare more than 100+ bags! A special thank you to everyone who donated candy! AssalamuAlaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Alhamdulillah, our Hajj and Eid ul Adha children’s program was a beautiful and successful event. We sincerely thank all the parents, volunteers, and community members who participated and helped make this gathering so meaningful for our children. It was wonderful to see the children learning about the blessings and rituals of Hajj in such an engaging and joyful way. Your support, cooperation, and delicious potluck dishes truly made the event special. May Allah (swt) reward everyone who contributed their time, effort, and generosity. May He place barakah in our children and allow them to grow with love and understanding of Islam. JazakumAllahu Khairan to everyone who attended and supported this program. Get ready for Hajj and Eid ul Adha with your children. This children's activity will be a wonderful opportunity for our children to connect with the blessings of Hajj by simulating the actions of the Hajji's while on the blessed journey. After the children "perform" Hajj, they will watch a cartoon together and have the opportunity to ask questions, insha Allah. We will have a potluck lunch to follow. Please bring a dish to share, inshaAllah. We hope to see you all there, insha Allah. We ask you to please fill out the form and RSVP, so that we can better prepare materials needed for each child.
