Dear community,

Unfortunately, due to the continued disrespect of my family's space, and my time and energy, after years of serving you, The Community Shoe Box will be permanently closing.

Today, Sunday, October 5, will be the last day to come and get shoes. Tomorrow, I will begin dismantling the shelving outside.

If anyone would like to host The Community Shoe Box at a new location, please reach out. I will donate all of the supplies, shelving, and shoes we currently have.

I am so sorry to those of you who rely on this resource, truly. I kept this going as long as possible, but I am not able to continue.

Guys. You can't be doing this. It's extremely difficult for me to get all of this organized by myself. I am one person with limited free time. I'm disabled. I'm providing a resource for YOU.

Please be respectful members of your community and put the shoes back in the bags if you're not going to take them.

Please close the bags to protect the shoes from weather and insects.

Please place the bags back on the correct shelves.

And, please, if you are able and notice that things are off/out of place while you're here, take a few moments to tidy up.
