We're excited to announce the promotion of Alexis Aviles to Communications & Engagement Coordinator! 🎉

Since joining the Chamber as a summer intern in 2022, Alexis has grown into an invaluable member of our team. After being hired as our part-time Communications Assistant in 2023, she earned her marketing degree from Northern Illinois University while also gaining experience as Marketing Assistant for the DeKalb County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Alexis has played a key role in telling the stories of our business community through social media, digital marketing, and videography, including our annual Taste of the Town series and Business of the Year and Nonprofit Organization Award finalist videos.

In her new full-time role, she'll continue overseeing our communications, social media, and member engagement efforts while helping strengthen connections between our members and the community.
