Get Involved to make a difference!

📢🎉 Exciting News! 🎉📢

We are thrilled to introduce our newest endeavor, the Generation Next Kids Program's "Birthday Kits for Kids"! 🎂🎉

These birthday kits are specially designed to bring joy and celebration to children in need. Each kit includes a disposable baking pan, cake mix, icing, sprinkles, plates, napkins, a happy birthday banner, balloons, and candles for the cake. 🎈🎁

We want to emphasize that these kits can be put together affordably, as demonstrated in the picture below, for just $12.00 to $15.00, depending on your selections. 💸💡

The purpose of this program is to ensure that every child, regardless of their financial situation, can enjoy a memorable birthday celebration. We will be providing these kits to children who’s families are struggling. 🏠❤️

With your support, we can make a difference in these children's lives. We kindly ask for your donations, whether it be a complete kit for children ages 0 to 18, or a monetary contribution via PayPal or check. Please designate your donation for "Birthday Kits for Kids" in the memo. 🍰🎁

Our goal is to receive fully assembled kits, as our limited volunteer staff is unable to sort and organize the items. We want to ensure that the kits are ready to go and can be distributed to children with birthdays during that month. 🎂🎈

This is an ongoing program, so you can donate a kit or make a monetary contribution at any time. Every little effort counts towards bringing joy and love to these children and their families. 🌟❤️

🥰 Feeling incredibly blessed today by the overwhelming support of our community.

🗓️ Yesterday, we received a heartfelt phone call ☎️ from a local school, urgently seeking jackets 🧥 for children who needed them before going home at the end of the day.

😌 It's truly touching to witness the unwavering unity and compassion within our community. Our staff and volunteers from all over the community came together, within hours to make it happen.

💗 This experience has ignited a renewed sense of purpose within us, motivating us to work even harder each and every day to meet the critical needs of so many in our community.

🏫 It also speaks volumes about the exceptional administration and leadership within our school system. 🌡️🥶 As temperatures plummeted to the low 20's last night, it warms our hearts 🥰 to witness the dedication of the teachers and administrators, ensuring that none of their students went home without the warmth they deserve.

Together, we can make a profound difference.

🎉🎁 WOW! Thanks to your incredible generosity, our Battle of the Badges Toy Drive has been a smashing success! 🎁🎉

But now, we need YOUR help to sort and organize these toys for distribution. 🎄🎅

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Walton County Fairgrounds from 8 AM to 2 PM. We'll be setting up the area, unbagging, sorting toys, and getting everything ready for distribution.

The address is 790 N 9th St, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433.

This is a fantastic opportunity to spread some holiday cheer and make a real difference in our community. 🌟

How that looks and evolves, takes time!

Meet Andrei. he started our Kids Program 1 month and 3 days after we opened our doors in July. We didn't know what Andrei's future in martial arts might look like. 🙂

It took some time to develop and evolve.

We now sees Andrei's potential future in martial arts if he wants it! 😀

He has absolutely taken to heart everything Coach teaches him and doesn't forget!

He's got the heart of a young warrior, 100%! 💓

Don't be surprised if one day you see Andrei on the cover of a martial arts magazine!

We believe he has that much potential, even at his young age!

Great job Andrei!

Kids Class is every weeknight from 5-6 pm. Parents, you are welcome to come by and see what our Kids Program is all about!

🚫 Important Reminder: The NEWLY OPENED Generation Next Service Center located at 1122 N 9th Street, DeFuniak Springs, FL is NOT a donation drop-off location. 🙅‍♀️

All donations, even those specifically for this program, must be dropped off at the Donation Center located at the Matrix Community Outreach Centers' Redemption Boutique. 📍Located at 37 State Hwy 83, DeFuniak Springs, FL.

We understand that it may be inconvenient to have donations dropped off at a separate location, but please bear with us. Sorting, organizing, and distributing donations require a significant amount of time and manpower, and currently, we are unable to manage two separate donation drop off locations. ⏰

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Your donations are incredibly valuable to us, and we want to ensure they reach those in need as efficiently as possible. 🙏

🧥🧦👟 Calling all generous hearts! 👟🧦🧥

Winter is here, and our Generation Next kids' clothing closet is in desperate need of warm clothing for children in need in our community. ❄️ We are seeking donations of short and long sleeve shirts, pants, jeans, coats, hoodies, socks, shoes, and undergarments in all sizes from 0-4XL. Because our program provides for kids of all ages we need a variety of sizes in children, junior, and adult clothing.

If you have any GENTLY used or new items that you can spare, please consider dropping them off at our donation center located at the Matrix Community Outreach Center/Redemption Boutique. Drop offs can be made Monday-Thursday anytime, or by appointment when calling 850-307-8100. 📍 When dropping off your donations, please indicate that they are specifically for the Generation Next Kids Closet.

Your donations will directly benefit children and families in need, ensuring that they stay warm and comfortable during the winter months. ❄️❤️

Community United is honored to house and partner with the Generation Next Program!

If you don’t already follow Matrix COC to find ways you can support!

❤️ Our Generation Next, newly opened service center is now serving homeless children and their families referred via our school district vouchering program.

👚 Today we are excited to be providing clothing items including; shirts, pants, jackets, socks, shoes and undergarments donated by individuals and businesses in our community.

📚 In addition newly packed backpacks, hygiene kits, pillows, blankets and other essentials are being provided.
