Why is hunger worse in summer? When school lets out, so do the free meals millions of kids count on.

It's Summer, nearly 10 million children will miss out on EBT food benefits , and our seniors on fixed Social Security incomes are getting squeezed just as hard, with groceries costing about 29% more than they did in 2020.

No child should learn on an empty stomach and no senior should choose between medicine and a meal. That's not who we are.
With recent changes to SNAP, more working families, veterans, and older neighbors are turning to community pantries like ours. We believe in neighbors helping neighbors , taking care of our own, the way it's always been done. 🇺🇸
