πŸ’› Glioblastoma Awareness Week | July 13–19, 2026 πŸ’›

This week, we honor those we have lost, support those currently fighting, and stand with every family whose lives have been changed by glioblastoma (GBM).

🧠 Glioblastoma is the most common malignant primary brain tumor in adults.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ In the United States, more than 13,000 people are diagnosed with glioblastoma each year.

πŸ’” Despite advances in medicine, median survival remains only 12–18 months.

πŸ“‰ Only about 5–7% of patients are alive five years after diagnosis.

πŸŽ—οΈ While rare in children, pediatric glioblastoma is an aggressive brain cancer. Brain tumors remain the leading cause of cancer-related death in children.

There is hope. Every new discovery, every clinical trial, every researcher, every advocate, and every voice brings us one step closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

Today, we remember. We raise awareness. We support research. We refuse to give up hope.

πŸ’› In loving memory of Catherine, and in honor of every child, adult, survivor, caregiver, and family affected by glioblastoma.
