Hurricane Irma Debris Collection
Dear Starlight Cove Resident,
We are thankful that the community made it through Hurricane Irma with little damage other than downed trees and other minor issues. While driving through the neighborhood, we noticed that you have a debris pile that includes items that would regularly be picked up by the City on bulk pickup days. However, due to the storm, the City of Deerfield Beach has suspended bulk pickup for the foreseeable future. which means you must separate your tree and yard debris from all other bulk items in front of your home.
If you do not separate your debris, FEMA trucks will not remove it. Please take a few moments to separate your bulk items from all yard and landscape debris and place them in separate piles. Landscape debris can only contain tree limbs, branches, trunks, and leaves. If feasible, you should store your bulk debris elsewhere in your home or on your property until the City resumes bulk pickup.
Thank you for your consideration and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Best,
Starlight Cove Board of Directors
