An Emmy award-winning journalist and co-anchor of NBC 6 news in South Florida, Strader brings over 20 years of experience covering major stories in the region and beyond. His exceptional work can also be seen on Voices with Jawan Strader, a community affairs show highlighting the black community and underrepresented groups. In recognition of his hard work and community involvement, Strader has received prestigious awards for his media coverage of public education and has been named one of South Florida's most influential black figures by Legacy magazine.
