It is with heavy hearts that we announce Deer Trail Clothing Bank is closing.
After two years, life circumstances have changed and we no longer have the time to put into the clothing bank.

We will have one last event along with the monthly food distribution: February 21st, 9am-11am at the Bus Barn (corner of 4th and Aspen in Deer Trail)
All clothing and shoes must go!

Other items belonging to the clothing bank will be donated to other local non profits and mutual aid organizations.

We are forever grateful for the amount of community support and the collaborations we’ve had the past two years!
Especially those at Deer Trail Food Pantry and the monthly food distribution of Food Bank of the Rockies for allowing us to serve our community along side them each month. Thank you Deer Trail School for allowing us to set up in the bus barn along with the monthly food distribution.
Thank you to Byers Washtub Laundromat for collaborating on events and helping community members with us. Thank you to Ruth and her family for volunteering each month.

Thank you to everyone who ever donated their clothing items, money, and time. We hope we were able to truly make a difference.

What’s one thing that helps you stay grounded during the holidays? 🌟

The holidays can be joyful. But for some Veterans, they can also stir up old memories, stress, or a sense of feeling out of place. 🎄

Big gatherings, loud environments, travel, or even certain dates can bring emotions to the surface that many Veterans don’t talk about. ✈️

If someone you love seems quieter this time of year, it doesn’t mean they don’t care. It may mean they’re carrying more than they’re saying. 💚

If a Veteran needs someone to talk to, the NVF is here with the Lifeline for Vets at 888-777-4443. 📞
